• 1) Students can choose to study abroad for either one (1) or two (2) semesters.
• 2) The last term for students to study abroad is the 7th semester.*

  * Students must take their last semester at Yonsei University according to Yonsei’s academic regulation. Those who will start study abroad on their seventh (7th) semester should only apply for one semester and return to take their last semester at Yonsei.

  ※ For international students who are currently studying in Yonsei with D-2 visa, their original D-2 visa will become invalidated if they participate in ESP abroad for *more than 1 semester* according to the Immigration Policy.

  Meaning, if they participate for *only 1 semester*, their D-2 visa will remain valid.
  If participating for more than 1 semester, international student must re-apply for a D-2 visa when they return from ESP abroad.

• 1) Master’s program
  • Students taking a 4-semester course can only participate in their third (3rd) semester, for one semester only.
  • Students taking a 5-semester course can participate either in their third (3rd) or fourth (4th) semester, but can only study abroad for one (1) semester.

* Students can participate in ESP only once (reapplying for ESP is not permitted).
