Greetings from Yonsei OIA,

Our office will be operating Alien Registration group service through KISF Visa Agency.

If you have not yet applied for an ARC individually, please utilize the group service below.

1. Working Hours and Services Provided

※ Students under quarantine or having symptoms of COVID-19 CANNOT visit the campus whatsoever (application by another person is acceptable).

※ It is mandatory for students to wear a mask when visiting the campus.

2. Alien Registration (takes more than 6 weeks to complete)

A. Refer to Attachments 1~2 for guidelines and required documents.

B. Expected dates of fingerprint registration and card distribution: further notice will be sent via email from Yonsei OIA once decided.

C. International students CANNOT leave Korea until they have received their Alien Registration Card. Otherwise, they will have to re-apply for D-2 visa from the very beginning when they come back.

D. Students must apply individually by visiting the Seoul Southern Immigration Office if they cannot attend the group service above.

※ It is mandatory for all D-2 visa holders to apply for an Alien Registration Card within 90 days from their arrival date.

    If you exceed this period, you will have to pay fines (200,000~1,000,000 KRW) to the Immigration Office according to their Immigration Policy.

    You may also be held forcefully at the airport and not allowed to depart when you try to depart from Korea, so please apply for an ARC mandatorily!

3. ARC Extension (takes more than 4 weeks to complete)

A. Refer to Attached 3 for guidelines and required documents.

B. This is only subject to those who already have an ARC from previous programs (Spring 2022, YISS) and need to extend their ARC.
