  • Dear Spring 2024 SAY Program exchange and visiting students,


    Greetings from Yonsei OIA,


    The following is regarding Spring 2024 mandatory offline orientation and student ID card pick-up schedule.

    A. Mandatory Offline Orientation
    1. Period: February 28th(Wed) 2:00PM KST (entrance starts from 1:30PM)
    2. Venue: Main Auditorium, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus
    3. Objective: This orientation is designed to provide you all the practical information you need to adapt to life in Yonsei University and Korea as well as the opportunity to establish some social network with other exchange and visiting students. If you cannot attend the offline orientation for whatever reason, our office will be posting the orientation materials at our Notice Page ( after the orientation date. For students who have been at Yonsei since Fall 2023, you may freely choose to attend the orientation.
    4. First Step to Korea(FSK) Tour: If you wish to tour around Seoul with Yonsei University students, sign-up for the tour after the orientation is over! For more information, please refer to the attachment.
    -Each tour costs 50,000 KRW per student; please prepare the fee in advance and we accept CASH ONLY.
    -Spots are limited to 50 students per each tour (first-come, first-served).
    5. Campus Tour: If you wish to tour around major buildings in Yonsei University, our university student ambassadors will give you tour around the campus, one in the morning and one in the afternoon on February 29th(Thur). After the orientation is over, our office will hand out tour tickets (first-come, first-served) which is mandatory for you to join the campus tour.
    -Date: [Morning Tour] February 29th(Thur) 10AM or [Afternoon Tour] February 29th(Thur) 2PM
    -Place: Arrive to Baekyangnuri, Global Lounge entrance 10 minutes before the tour starting time along with your tour ticket.
    -Spots are limited to 100 students per each tour (first-come, first-served).
    B. Student ID Card Pick-Up (not subject to students who were enrolled since Fall 2023)
    ※ For UCEAP, CIEE, and IES/SAF students, please disregard the following as those offices will send a separate announcement to you regarding the pick-up.
    1. Period
    -For Exchange students (student ID number starting with 2024846~), February 27th(Tue) 10AM~1:30PM
    -For Visiting students (student ID number starting with 2024847~), February 27th(Tue) 1:30PM~5PM
    2. Venue: Global Lounge, Baekyangnuri, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus
    3. To receive your package: Bring your passport and Yonsei Student ID number information(202484####)
    4. If you cannot make it to the Global Lounge during the above period,
    Starting from February 29th(Thur) 10AM, visit Suite S302(Office of International Affairs), Baekyang Hall, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus.
    Our office hour is Mon-Fri 9AM~12PM & 1:30PM~5PM.
    5. You need to tag your Student ID Card to enter the Yonsei Library Building which is possible starting from March 2nd(Sat)(=official first day of the semester).
