  • [2017 Fall] Course Evaluation, Grade Appeal/Correction, Transcript

    • Study Abroad at Yonsei Program Survey (Dec. 1st, 2017 9:00am - Jan. 4th, 2018 23:59pm)

    1. Check your email title: [Yonsei U] 2017 Fall Study Abroad at Yonsei Program Survey from Dec. 1st

    2. Declare or do not declare your student ID number

    3. Submit program survey  

    Your participation in program survey is valuable to enhance the quality of the program for future participants.

    Survey participants who declared their student ID number in the survey will be granted with a one-time free transcript issuance and delivery via regular air mail, in addition to one free copy of transcript that our office sends to your home university (or study abroad office).

     

    • Course Evaluation (Dec. 8th, 2017 9:00am - Jan. 4th, 2018 23:59pm) 

    -Students are required to complete Course evaluation to view/access grades.

    1. Log on to Yonsei Portal Services (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/indexe.jsp)

    2. Academic Information System ⇒ Academic Management System ⇒ Log-in (Input ID, Password)

    3. Click on ‘Course’ ⇒ Click on ‘Course Evaluation’ ⇒ ‘Save’ after Course Evaluation

     

    - Though the evaluation process is conducted anonymously, it is students’ responsibility to provide honest yet constructive feedback. Open ended questions provide the opportunity to make useful suggestions to the professors; please do so in a positive and productive manner.

    - Students cannot make amendments once the survey is saved.

    - We advise you to conduct your course evaluation early as the online server may be overloaded with students on the first day of grade check.

    - From 2012 Fall Semester, you can participate in the survey on the course information sharing after viewing the instructional video clip regarding its major objective, purpose, attitude, etc.

    - Graduate courses and KLI courses are not subject to evaluate.

     

    • Online Mandatory Gender-Based Violence Prevention Program (No.3 & No.5)

    (anytime for Fall Semester students) 

    -Students are required to complete online gender-based violence prevention program to view/access grades.

    1. Log on to YSCEC (http://yscec.yonsei.ac.kr), select language to English

    2. Click banner on the right "Gender-based violence prevention programs" ⇒ Fill out information of the participant

    3. Direct address (http://yscec.yonsei.ac.kr/local/education/)

     

    Yonsei University's Education program on preventing is carried out based on the related legislation articles of the government of Republic of Korea. For further inquiry, please contact "genderedu@yonsei.ac.kr".

     

    • Grade Appeal and Correction Period (Dec. 29th, 2017 - Jan. 4th, 2018)

    1. Log on to Yonsei Portal Services (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/indexe.jsp)

    2. Academic Information System ⇒ Academic Management System ⇒ Log-in (Input ID, Password)

    3. Click on ‘Course’ ⇒ Click on ‘Grading Browse’

    Students (who completed course evaluation and online gender-based violence prevention program) can access and view their course grades from  December 29, 2017 via Yonsei Portal Service. If your grades do not match what your instructor has informed you, please contact the instructor of the course as soon as possible before the end date of the grade appeal and correction period. After the grade appeal and correction period, student or instructor cannot change grades.

     

    • Official Transcript Issuance (Jan. 8th, 2018, subject to change)

    One official copy of your academic transcript will be posted regular mail after Jan. 8th to your home university or study abroad institution as follows:

    -Exchange student: Will be automatically send to Home University 

    -Non-exchange student: Check your home university address at Yonsei Portal Service by Dec. 21st, 2017.

    *Home university nominated student and CIEE student's official transcript will be send to home university and CIEE.

    To request for additional transcripts individually, kindly refer the OIA website: http://oia.yonsei.ac.kr/intstd/exTrans.asp (Your individual transcript request will be accepted after Jan. 15th,2018.)

     

    • University address Change deadline (by Dec. 21st, 2017)  - only for Non-exchange student, guidance attached

    If you wish to modify the above address, please change the University Address in your student record at Yonsei Portal Service. After this date your address cannot be changed.

    1. Log on to Yonsei Portal Service (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr) and go to Academic Information System > Academic Management System.

    2. Select Student Record > Information > Modification of Personal Data menu.

    3. Change your University Address, then click Save.

    4. Please be reminded that you must update your University Address, NOT Permanent Address.
