[Spring 2023] Offline Orientation, Student ID Card Pick-Up, and Certificate of Enrollment

Dear Spring 2023 SAY Program exchange and visiting students,
Greetings from Yonsei OIA,
The following is about Spring 2023 mandatory offline orientation, student ID card pick-up, and issuance of Certificate of Enrollment.
A. Mandatory Offline Orientation (We strongly recommend everyone to wear a mask since more than 1,000 people will be inside the auditorium.)1. Period: February 23rd(Thur) 2:00PM (entrance starts from 1:30PM)
2. Venue: Main Auditorium, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus3. Objective: This orientation is designed to provide you all the practical information you need to adapt to life in Yonsei University and Korea as well as the opportunity to establish some social network with other exchange and visiting students. For students who have been at Yonsei since Fall 2022, you may freely choose to attend the orientation. If you cannot attend the offline orientation for whatever reason, our office will be posting the orientation materials at our Notice Page (https://oia.yonsei.ac.kr/intstd/notice.asp) after the orientation date.4. First Step to Korea(FSK) Tour: If you wish to tour around Seoul with Yonsei University students, sign-up for the tour after the orientation is over! For more information, please refer to the attachment.-Each tour costs 50,000 KRW per student; please prepare the fee in advance and we accept CASH ONLY!-Spots are limited to 50 students per tour (first-come, first-served).5. Campus Tour: If you wish to tour around major buildings in Yonsei University, our university ambassadors will give you tour around the campus, one during the morning and one during the afternoon on February 24th(Fri). After the orientation is over, our office will hand out tour necklaces (first-come, first-served) which is mandatory for you to join the campus tour.-Date: [Morning Tour] February 24th(Fri) 10AM or [Afternoon Tour] February 24th(Fri) 2PM-Place: Arrive to Baekyangnuri, Global Lounge entrance 10 minutes before the tour starting time along with your tour necklace.-Spots are limited to 100 students per tour (first-come, first-served).B. Student ID Card Pick-Up※ For CIEE and UCEAP students, please disregard the following as the CIEE and UCEAP office will send a separate announcement to you regarding package pick-up.1. Period-For Exchange students (student ID number starting with 2023846~), March 2nd(Thur) 9:30AM~4:00PM-For Visiting students (student ID number starting with 2023847~), March 3rd(Fri) 9:30AM~4:00PM2. Venue: Global Lounge, Baekyangnuri, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus3. To receive your package: Bring your passport and Yonsei Student ID number information(202384####)4. If you cannot make it to Global Lounge during the above period,Starting from March 6th(Mon) 10AM, visit Suite S302(Office of International Affairs), Baekyang Hall, Yonsei University Sinchon Campus. Our office hour is Mon-Fri 9AM~12PM & 1:30PM~5PM.C. Certificate of Enrollment
Through updated Yonsei Portal, all exchange and visiting students who are currently attending SAY Program (Spring, Fall) can issue their own Certificate of Enrollment through Yonsei Portal(portal.yonsei.ac.kr).Please login to Yonsei Portal(portal.yonsei.ac.kr) → click Academic Information System → click International Student Exchange → click Certificate of Exchange Student Enrollment → Print.There is no special paper for this certificate, so you can print on your own on a regular A4 and Yonsei OIA will not print one for you.We look forward to see you at the orientation!
