    *** Course Registration Period (Date/Time: Korean Standard Time) ***

    ROUND 1. Mileage Bidding Process: February 7th 09:00am - 8th 17:00pm

    Exchange/visiting students are given 72 (undergraduate) or 60 (graduate) mileage points. Students should allocate mileage points according to how much s/he wishes to take a course.   

    Until this date/time is reached, student cannot register course online. Login possible from 8:00am

    Notification of Results: February 9th 16:00pm - 12th 08:59am

    The result of Round 1 will be notified. When a student is not enrolled in a course, the waiting number will be given on the basis of mileage points that were allocated to the course in Round 1.

    ROUND 2. Waiting Number System: February 12th 09:00am - 13th 17:00pm

    Students can enroll in a course on a first-come, first-serve basis within the total student capacity. If there are no remaining seats, waiting numbers will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Course Add & Drop Period: March 7th 08:00am - 9th 17:00pm

     

    To access Yonsei Portal Service, YONSEI Course Enrollment System,

    please click “Undergraduate Course Enrollment” menu of Yonsei Portal Service (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/indexe.jsp)

    Login Credentials: ID: Yonsei Student ID (e.g. 201884****), PW: Your date of birth in “yymmdd” format.

     

    There is a limit to the number of students that can be enrolled in all courses. At the time of online course registration, students will be able to view a quota for the total number of students, a quota for major students, and quota by year of study of courses through the YONSEI Course Enrollment System.

     

    Some courses have seats for non-majors in addition to majors. If you wish to take a course other than your Yonsei major, apply for it during Round 1, 2 after checking whether it has seats for non-majors.

     

    Graduate students may register for undergraduate courses if the course is available for exchange/visiting students, major quota available, and year of study quota as 4th(senior) year available.

     

    Undergraduate students may register for 1 graduate courses if the course is available for undergraduate exchange/visiting students, got approval from the professor, gpa is higher than 3.0/4.0, and in senior year.

     

    On behalf of Department of Business Administration (BIZ), courses are exclusive to business major students only, and even in such case, students can take up to 4 BIZ courses from Department of Business Administration. However, the following courses are exceptionally available to exchange/visiting students of OTHER majors.

    -BIZ3134-01-00 International Management (Instructor: Weemaes Hans): Available to exchange/visiting students in non-business administration majors only

    -BIZ3147-09-00 Strategic Management (Instructor: Weemaes Hans): Available to exchange/visiting students in non-business administration majors only

    -BIZ3340-01-00 Entrepreneurship and Strategy (Instructor: Weemaes Hans): Available to exchange/visiting students in non-business administration majors only

     

    On behalf of Underwood International College (UIC), courses are unavailable to register in Round 1. In Round 2, some courses will be accessible. Following majors at UIC are unavailable regardless of Round 1, Round 2, and Course add & drop period: ASD-Asian Studies, TAD-Information and Interaction Design, TAD-Creative Technology Management, TAD-Culture and Design Management, ISSD-Justice and Civil Leadership, ISSD-Quantitative Risk Management, ISSD-Science, Technology, and Policy, ISSD-Sustainable Development and Cooperation, ISED-Nano Science and Engineering, ISED-Energy & Environmental Science and Engineering, ISED-Bio-Convergence.

     

    Intensive Korean Language courses (KLI1001~1006) must be registered during Round 1 or Round 2 only.

     

    Some of the exchange students who are coming to Yonsei under DIRECT agreements with Law school, Department of Business, Department of Engineering, Underwood International College, 3 Campus program may have different rules and regulations when course registering.
