2019 APRU Sustainable Cities and Landscapes Conference

The APRU SCL program hub harnesses the breadth of experiences and socio-ecological contexts across the Pacific Rim to study city-landscape interactions and to initiate solutions and policy interventions to make entire city-landscape complexes more sustainable.

This annual conference is an exciting opportunity for researchers and experts from across the Asia-Pacific region to advance their ideas and research outputs within the structure of select working groups in the following research areas, including

Infrastructural ecologies
Urban renewable energy
Smart cities
Sustainable urban design
Urban-rural linkages
Transitions in urban waterfronts
Vulnerable communities
Landscape and human health
Urban biodiversity

Two-Step Registration & Deadline
To participate in a working group and attend the conference, please:

Step 1:
Provide an expression of interest (EOI), outlining your name, position, 100-word statement, and a preferred (or previous) working group, and send it to apruscl2019@gmail.com by June 1, 2019.

Your EOI will be distributed to working group leaders and you will be advised of the successful selection.

Step 2:
Once you have received a confirmation from a working group leader, a registration link will be provided as part of your confirmation.
