Yonsei University Representatives visited UCLA to participate in 2019 APRU Annual Presidents Meeting from June 23^rd to June 25^th. Universities in an Age of Global Migrations was the theme of this year’s Annual Presidents Meeting hosted by UCLA. Focused on the Asia-Pacific region, the meeting addressed global migration in relation to Asia-Pacific challenges such as climate change and inequality as well as campus issues of equity and diversity. President Yong-Hak Kim participated in Panel 2: Global Migrations and Prospects of Higher Education. President Kim introduced and articulated Yonsei University strategies and policies related to the issue.

During the visit to LA, President Kim interviewed with LA Korea Daily, LA Korea Times, and Radio Korea. Followed by the interviews, President hosted Yonsei Southern California Alumni Association Event. About 20 senior alumnus joined the event to discuss the future of Yonsei University with the President.
