Option 1 : Self-Download (Free)

You can download your official transcript directly from the Yonsei Portal at any time — no request or fee required.

Note: Some institutions may not accept self-downloaded transcripts. Please check with your home institution whether they require a transcript sent directly through an official system (see Option 2 below).

How to download:

Log in to the Yonsei Portal (portal.yonsei.ac.kr)

Go to Academic Information System

Click “Grades”

Save as a file or print out your transcript

Option 2 : Send Electronic Transcript to an Institution

If your home institution requires a verified transcript sent through an official channel, you can send it directly via the Yonsei Portal’s certificate issuance system.

This service is available for all SAY, YISS, and WAY students.

How to Send:

Log in to the Yonsei Portal (portal.yonsei.ac.kr)

Go to IT SERVICE → Online Transcripts & Certificates

Select “ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATE (PDF File)” and issue the certificate

Complete payment (₩3,000)

 

05

Go to “Unissued” → “Email Transmission” and send to your institution

Having trouble with the Portal system? If you experience technical issues and are unable to send the transcript yourself, please contact us.

Option 3 : Hard Copy (Physical Transcript)

If you need a printed transcript mailed to an address, please use our request form.

How to Submit a Request:

Click the “Request Form” tab and log in with your Yonsei Portal credentials

Select “Hard Copy” and enter recipient information

Click “Submit”

Complete payment via Flywire (button appears on Request Status page)

Recipient Information (Hard Copy)

  • Recipient Name
  • Mailing Address (street, city, state/province, and postal/ZIP code)
  • Country
  • Phone Number (include country code for international numbers)
Sending to multiple institutions? Please submit a separate request for each recipient.

Tracking Your Hard Copy Request

You can check the status of your request under the “Request Status” tab.

Requested Your request has been received and is awaiting payment
Paid Payment confirmed. Your transcript is being processed.
Sent Your transcript has been shipped (tracking number will appear under Post Information)
Cancelled Your request has been cancelled (only possible before payment)

Important Notes

  • Electronic (Portal): You can send to your institution immediately after payment — no waiting required.
  • Hard Copy: Payment must be completed before processing begins.
  • You may cancel a Hard Copy request while the status is “Requested” (before payment). No charges apply for cancellations at this stage.
  • Cancellation and refunds are not available after payment.
  • For Hard Copy, please submit your request at least 3 weeks before your deadline.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate recipient and delivery information.
  • For urgent requests, please contact us directly.

Password Reset & Student ID

If you forgot your Yonsei Portal password, click “Forgot Password?” on the login page. This will take you to the “RESET PW for SAY/YISS/WAY” page where you can reset your password.

Don’t remember your Student ID? Contact us with your full name, program year, date of birth, and home institution:
