Overview

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides strategic direction for Yonsei University’s global endeavors in its mission to become Asia’s World University.

Since its establishment in 1966 as the first international office among Korean universities, the OIA has developed significant partnerships with leading universities around the world to develop collaborative global strategies, initiatives, and programs and ensure a culturally rich environment for students and faculty on campus. The office consists of two teams: the International Education Center and the International Team.

The International Education Center runs various non-degree programs for both domestic and international students, including Study Abroad at Yonsei, Yonsei International Summer School, Winter Abroad at Yonsei, and short term programs. The Center is also in charge of academic affairs for the exchange student program.

The International Team is in charge of international partners and exchange programs, institutional visits and protocol, outbound student mobility, international faculty support, and government scholarships for international students.
