주한 이탈리아 대사관이 제 3 회 “일일 주한 이탈리아 대사 체험{Ambassador for a Day}" 지원자를 모집합니다.

철저한 선별과정을 통해 선발된 여학생에게 고위 외교관의 하루를 체험하는 것을 목적으로 하는 이 번 프로젝트는 UN 2030 아젠다, 특히 여성 인권 강화 및 양성 평등에 관한5 번째 목표 달성을 위한 노력의 일환으로 기획된 프로그램입니다.
선발된 잠가자는 에밀리아 가토 주한 이탈리아 대사와 함께 하루를 보내며 한이 고위 관료들간 공식 미팅, 이탈리아무역공사가 주관하는 이탈리아 기업인들과의 만남, 이른바 STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)이 라 불리는 과학, 기술, 공학, 수학 부문 전문가와의 토론 맞 이탈리아문화원과의 협업을 통해 기획되는 각종 문화행사 등 대사관의 모든일정에 참여할것입니다.
본프로젝트는한국과 이탈리아의 다양한 언론 매제에 보도되고, 대사관SNS재널에도 소개될 예정입니다.
선발기준:
본 프로젝트는 여학생을 대상으로 하며, 하루동안 주어진 역할을 일관성 있게 수행하는 데 필요한 학력을 갖주어야 합니다. 지원자는 짧은 에세이를 영문으로 제줄해야 하며, 이를 통해 영어 능력과 이탈리아문화에 대한 열정과 관심을갖주었음을증명해야합니다.
학력: 정치학, 국제협력학, 국제관계학, 경제학, 공공행정학, 디자인, 사회과학을 전공한 학부생 및 석사생
에세이: "Empowering Change: Why Eliminating Violence Against Women Will Contribute to the Wellbeing of Men”을 제 목으로 한 에세 이 제 출 (최대 1.000자, 영어로 작성)

- 영어 능력, 이탈리아 문화에 대한 열정과 프로젝트에 대한 관심을 증명하는 짧은커 버 레 터 (motivation letter).（최 대 200 자, 영 어 로 작성)

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS ''Ambassadorfor a Day" (March 6, 2024)
Getting inspiration from the UN 2030 Agenda, and in particular Goal nr. 5 on Women's empowerment and Gender equality, the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Korea has launched the 3rd edition ofthe project "Ambassador for a Day", which aims at giving the opportunity to one female student, chosen through a selection process, to experience one day as a senior-level diplomat.
The selected candidate will spend a day with the Italian Ambassador in Seoul, H.E. Emilia Gatto, actively engaging in all activities normally carried out in an Embassy. Such activities may include political consultations with high-level officials of both Italy and South Korea, meetings with representatives of Italian companies that operate in the country within the programme of the Italian Trade Agency, discussions with leading representatives of the STEM sector and the participation to cultural events organized in coordination with the Italian Cultural Institute.
The project will be communicated to Korean and Italian newspapers and media and given visibility through the Embassy's social media.

Selection criteria:
The student's eligibility will be assessed based on her academic background, which needs to be consistent with the role she will play for a day, and on a short essay. Finally, the student should prove knowledge of the English language, as well as motivation and interest in the Italian culture.

- Academic background: bachelor and master's students of study courses such as Political Science, International Cooperation, International Relations, Economics, Public Administration, Design and Social Science.

- Essay: "Empowering Change: Why Eliminating Violence Against Women Will Contribute to the Wellbeing ofMen" (max. 1000 words, in English).
Short motivational letter that should prove knowledge ofthe English language, interest in the project and passion for the Italian language, culture and traditions (max. 200 words, in English).
