    3. Introduction

    AEARU-SNU Winter Ski Camp is a 4-day recreational program held at Phoenix Hotels & Resorts(Pyeongchang*, Korea) designed for students who are currently studying at AEARU member universities who wish to learn how to ski. We encourage all students, from beginners to advanced skiers, who wish to develop skiing skills and build inernational network to join this exciting winter camp. The camp will consist of morning and afternoon sessions with professional ski instructors.

    *Pyeongchang, a City of Nature & Sports: The 2018 Winter Olympics took place in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea. The area offers wonderful outdoor activities year round, but the best time to visit is in winter, when the mountains are blanketed in snow. New York Times ranked Pyeongchang, Korea on the 35th place among 'the 52 Must Visit Travel Destinations in  2016.'

     

    4. Program Schedule

    * Jan 28(Tues): Check-in, Orientation, Welcome Dinner

    * Jan 29(Wed): SNU → Phoenix Hotels & Resorts, Orientation, Satety Education, Ski Class, Team Project

    * Jan 30(Thurs): Ski Class, Team Project

    * Jan 31(Fri): Ski Class, Team Project

    * Feb 1(Sat): Ski Class, Phoenix Hotels & Resorts → SNU

    * Feb 2(Sun): Check-out

     

    5. Costs

    Costs for meals, local transportation(SNU-Ski resort), accommodation for 5 nights, rental fee for equipment(ski, boots, helmet) will be waived.

    Student participants will be responsible for their air fare to and from Korea as well as for their ski suits which can be rented.
